Hamnet tells the powerful story of love and loss that inspired the creation of Shakespeare’s timeless masterpiece, Hamlet.
From an Integral perspective, Hamnet shows how personal grief ripples through inner life, family relationships, and creative expression. After the death of their son, Shakespeare and Agnes struggle with loss in different ways. The tragedy becomes a catalyst for transformation, eventually giving rise to the play Hamlet, where private pain is transformed into universal art.
